Totally agree. Bad timing for the vr. The flood of hardware may have cost them sales. Forcing the consumer to choose between slim/pro/vr plus so many games that came out around this time.
Running through titan fall 2 now. The game is far from a disappointment. Cheesy lines get eclipsed by great game play, also PS4pro patch really makes it smooth and crisp. Probably my favorite patched game/most noticeable upgrade. Along side hitman, and the last of us.
Does anyone know how many pros? Are they combining sales?
Or trade in you old PS4 and if you have a psv you can trade that in as well and get $240 off.
I was thinking about trading my original psv for the pro. Not sure if I want to keep it for collection purposes.
The beta was underwhelming too, maybe that played along with the unfourtunate realease date.

These for starters. Plus all the Xbox titles that will be released after the Scorpio. Also be able to run the at 60fps for a pc and monitor that will be under $1500.
Opppse to buying a 4K/hdr TV set and XboxS or Ps4pro. Also you'll be ahead of this gen and most likely be a bit into the next.
If you care that much about 4K buy a pc. You'll have way more games to play.

Microsoft made an interesting decision shooting for this console. The way I see it is if you are that picky about power and graphics why not shell out extra $€ for a pc.. Especially when you can probably get a pc with an extra $200 or less that'll beat it if the price is around $600. Not to mention if you are playing to buy a 4K tv you can get a 4K monitor and beast of a pc ... all the Xbox games are on pc.. I hope this goes well for Microsoft. Also if it going to be "xb1 gen" ...

Uufff you said it best. I couldn't believe what I was playing. The graphics on bf are amazing. I can't believe it looks that good. Yet the maps are ridiculously larger than cods.
Everyone is forgetting that rockstar owed Sony an exclusive. *Agent. They might have scrapped it for this.
Seemslike all the bad things that have plagued the more recent cods are still there. A bit perpetuated by the "new gen" game style.
