Infinity ward has no clue how annoying the match making system was on psn
not only was it nearly impossible to play with friends, it was downright stupid.
i couldn't tell you how many times i would have to send stupid messages over psn because the cod4 servers would not let me join or would just screw up
in socom or killzone 2, i can just tell my friends where to meet up, and its done. no drama and no guessing
match making is just a bad idea <...

for the ps3 at least, the motion controller is going to be a lot more accurate and steered towards hardcore/skill driven games
its going to be much more accurate then a joystick and its pretty much like a mouse
but when i think of pc as a safety net i think of it like, i can go back to it when im bored of the console games

those weren't handled by the design team that works on the main id games
they were done by branched off companies that were hired by id
and i highly doubt doom will have multiplayer

id say this looks like halo mixed with warhawk
the art style is way more similar to halo 1 especially in how things are rendered
and the environment setup and planes planes seem to be much closer to warhawk then battlefield or tribes

people make this kind of stuff all the time, and its usually the younger crowd in their late teens and early 20s
but then you have to remember that this person is also copying the halo style. designing your own weapons and actually making it so people don't think they look like crap is very hard to do, which is why so many people just go with the "military shooter" type games so they don't have to spend too much time ...
