2 things on this, first it was a new ip so he shouldn't be saying people should of bought it at full price. Second release a game without a lot of bugs at release and maybe more people would be wiling to pay full price for a game.
For the most part, most of Enix titles are still good as they kept most of their devs. Whereas the Square part lost a lot of their devs right before and right after the merger with Enix.

But 9 of the picks are within the last decade and most of those are within the last 7 years, and the final 6, 3 of them are from the early 200s and the final 3 are from the 90s.
I'm taking it that either the author is not really all that old or didn't play a lot of older turn based rpgs.
Because if it is true, Sony should waste money on keeping the servers up that no one or hardly anyone is using.
No, they still won't sell as many as Playstation and occasionally Nintendo. People will just get the games on pc.
We can only hope that they pick up a few or even open up a couple of new studios.
I thought that ME1 was probably the best RPG of the bunch, while ME2 probably had the best story, and ME3 was probably the best for the combat.

Well if the devs make a good game than it is not hard to retain an audience for the game.

Well I think your bosses and the stock holders probably have a lot of regrets with that.
All that I expect from a game is that I get entertained for a while.
I'd say it is due to the fact that it is almost impossible to get a PS5 and will continue on for the foreseeable future.
