Oh poor Sony, bless their cotton socks, they only did because EA told them to do it!.

I think you have forgotten that capitalism is a two way street. However your point raises the valid question of who Sony partners with to provide their online solution in the first place. If their costs have gone up exponentially then it's fair to see them reflect that in their costing.

HOWEVER my experience in global datacentre pricing doesn't reflect that assumption. I'm not saying that it's not true, mearly that it's unlikely.

Now i...

N0b 0ff. That is a shit argument. It's not even a argument. Thats greasing up, then bending over a barrel and saying "well it's cheaper that a visit to the proctologist"

Thank you Microsoft for giving me Carpal tunnel and a dose of the clap. Note: For those without a sense of humour, that last part was a joke. Except for the clap. Lol

If they do hike the xbl price here in blighty, I wouldn't have a problem with it. As long as I can see where the investment is going.

For xbl I have seen looking for and clubs and arena become parts of xbl. So for that and the massive increase in European v servers. I think it would be fine.

For Sony I'd expect to see the same. New ps+ features for online gaming as well as free games. But I'd EXPECT new online features. Not just games.

Don't play coy, trooper. If you have been on here for more than a week there is nothing more desired by the Sony collective that the exit of MS from the gaming space.

I'm thankful sataya sees this g differently and that ms as a whole is investing a hell of a lot in gaming.

Sony are charging more for ps+ either for investment or plain old greed.

@UCForce MS made it a paid service for a reason. To invest in something solid so the customer has the most premium experience. Sony realised the needed to do the same after the lack of security was highlit in their systems.

If you want free online get a pc, otherwise grow up.

It's a good thing. Chinese culture is far more interesting than the Japanese.

The sleeping giant is awake and just despite their dodgy views on copyright law they will to better globally than Japan in my view. Give it time.

As for Sony, they are just releasing news now, but we know all the big publishers including MS have been courting China for years. So I'm sure there will be a lot of Chinese developed games across all platforms.

Speaking for myself, I think I will wait for the game to come out and evaluate it for myself just like with music I refuse to be told by other people, I'll do as I like. The last time I checked, the game still has dev time left so I'm going to wait until then.

One thing I have noticed is the lack of knowledge from SOME of the uneducated on this site.

I would be inclined to punch an uneducated non-developers who throw out a comment like some of the...

OK, a quick question.

I've lost track a bit this year, can someone list AAA ps4 exclusive games that either have been or will be release in the year 2017, NOT games that have slipped to 2018.

Just for clarification. AAA ONLY and will be released before 31st December 2017.

@Nesflix I know exactly how you feel. Younger people now, don't see the fuss and since they see it as ancient history the stupid comments come out.

I'd have no issue with the game studio if they said this is set in an alternate universe that looks a little like WWII but has not comparisons what so ever. Just like the missing first page of the bible that says "To my darling Candy, all characters in this book are fictitious and have no bearing people either livin...

I suppose some people may feel differently about it when they lost members of their own families to the Nazi Death Camps. When in Britain we say "Lest we forget" we want to remember the horror committed by the Nazi's and the Japanese during WWII so to remove the swastika from the uniforms be it campaign or multi player may, to some, feel wrong.

My great uncle Edward was tortured by the Japanese in WWII like many others and to this day we won't have Japanes...

@UForce

I can see why Sony fans don't like Phil Spencer. I'm a big fan of Xbox but due to my husband being a Sony fan am supporting both platforms and have enjoyed what I've played on playstation with exception of the Japanese styled games which everyone know I'm not a fan of on any platform.

The issue can be said that there is not enough follow up on all of Phil's comments, yes there is a lot of followup but I can see why people eith...

That's how I feel about Kingdom Hearts. Japanese characters meets goofy. Though I was more of an Animaniacs fan instead of Disney.

Oh thank f@ck for that!.

Neill Blomkamp is a brilliant writer and director. Kojima maybe a great dev but he is NOT in Blomkamps league.
