I loved the trailer to TLOU2, the lezzing it up scene was very sweet then coupled with the ultra-violence later on made for fractious viewing.

@nagura - I think you're dead wrong about Japan. While it is nice to have a couple of Japanese games to cater to the niche market, more money is made outside of Japanese studios.
Japan while great is no where near the paradigm it once was. They haven't been the paradigm for a VERY long time.
I agree with @Reaprr. The idea that we let Sony loose as the sole high end console platform is frightening.
We need MS and Nintendo there to keep all platforms on their toes. Take EA Access being withheld from PS4 users as an example. Sony has PS Now so therefore they made the decision for all PS4 users to not allow a third party service to compete as it were, even though it's not a streaming service but a download service.

It's a great game but it is NOT a masterpeice. The gameplay needs to be more in-depth to get close.

I was never worried about it being episodic as I loved the big missions they released for the first one, however an all in one will be a day one for my eldest lad and I.
The only thing I've got to say about FF XIV is the sounds from the four guys sometimes sounds like "Gay Sex" the grunts they come out with are hilarious.

Either you haven't played it or you had a bad experience. That said it's a 7 for me and with more in-depth gameplay would easily be a 8 / 8.5.
Its an excellent game even if it is heavy on the interactive, though I'm not knocking that at all.
I'd give it 7 personally, only because it lacks game play and feeling like an interactive film.
It's very good mind you and the graphics, animation and story are great, however the game play is no where near as good.
It's an odd one to judge mind and I get the mixed review scores.
