I really hope KZ2 is a good game but I dont think its going to perform well financially. KZ2 has one of the largest budgets for a game ever, something like 100 million right? If you figure they can make $50 bucks a game ( I know it sells for 59.99 but subtract shipping, marketing, and markup for the gamestore), they are looking having to sell 2 million to break even. MGS4 has sold about 4 million worlwide, and I don't think KZ2 will reach this level of sales. Assuming they get 3 million so...
The problem with LBP is that it is a game not many people wanted. There is a difference between critical acclaim, and market demand. Games like MGS4, GTA, and GOW are games people want, and they sell millions upon millions of copies. The vast majority of game purchasers want to be entertained by videogames, not create them. ...
I disagree... I dont like all of his opinions or the stupid freestyle rapping attempts he makes, but I like the fact that if nothing else, he is different than all the other game news sources... as gaming becomes more widespread and diverse, so will gaming journalists... To say he is ruining games journalism makes no sense, if nothing else he is reaching out to audiences previously not catered to by gaming media. This is called expanding the market. This is good.
