I pre ordered my game from gamestop, and i only got it on the 27th, maybe the 28th. But I know from friends that they couldn't find the game anywhere, meijer, wal mart, best buy, you name it wasn't there.
wow, gamepro reviewers need to take some notes from IGN. If u ask me both games have improved just as much individualy in the graphics department. Gears 2 does have slightly better graphics, but it sounds like the variety of great gameplay goes to resistance 2.

I really hope that Sony pushes the promotion on this game. I have yet to see any advertisements except on gaming sites. They need this one to do well. The only big titles coming out that can fight off GEARS2 and Fable 2 are Resistance 2, Socom, and I believe KZ2 is a little to far off to be considered competition for gears.
I think it would be great if we found out that kojima was just playing a joke on us, u know, messin with our heads again.
The number of GTA games sold will probably be the same. But...PS3 will sell many more consoles with the game, and the future exclusives.
I named my weapon classes (the ones i made myself) but now everytime i get online i can't see the name, even if i renamed them. Anyone have a solution? Not really an extreme concern but it would be nice in the patch.
Yea if you actually own a PS3 then you would know that all the 360 has is 1st person shooters. Mass Effect... yea it sounds great, but you failed to mention anything else worthy of being called a better game. These types of articles, are the ONLY thing 360 fans have to look forward to. That, what is it, like $20 every 2-4 months or so will eventually add up for online play with those short lived shooters. Just had to throw something else in there. :)
None of the games (exclusives) that i have seen on the xbox 360 are appealing at all. Ok you have Halo 3, basically a halo 2.5, and other shooters that i could care less about (except gears) that are not appealing at all. I can only feel sorry for people that alrdy bought a 360. So much potential and great games coming for the PS3 i'm having a hard time figuring out when and what to spend my money on. :)
Let me get this straight. I plan on getting a 60GB PS3, will i be able to download an update similar to what they are talking about (picture-in-picture video playback)
If this video playback improves the memory, which i believe is needed on more advanced games like assisins creeds and future big titles(the news about the ps3 version of assisins creed said developers had trouble with the memory) it looks like i will have to go with a 40gb version, right?
I don't think PS3 has to worry to much about sales right now, its making a good money off of it. They will just leave the ps2 to compete with the xbox aracade and before you know it, PS3 will be flying off the shelves. Hopefully $300 by the time February rolls around
