Well, it looks good, but its hard to tell when it looks like vaseline was smeared on the screen. Oh well, I'll keep the experience for playing it on my tv!

i think they were makign the point that no game with get 9+ reviews from every site/magazine. Halo and bioshock are AAA, but some reviews gave them below 9. R&C is the same, its just Zhuk being an ass.
I can see them showing up at these "computer-savvy, technologically-able, quick-thinking" people's houses, only to find some fat ass nerd who hasn't been in natural light in years.
Review seems somewhat fair. I'd rather see a later review that an earlier one, especially for multiplayers. Everyone gave warhawk a low score originally because they didn't have a massive group of online players. Thats the whole point of this game!
I'm not too sure about those numbers. Is it just me, or has the 360 been between 10 and 12 million for the whole year? I'm pretty sure halo alone should of brought the numbers above 12million, but who knows.
If you have a ps2, try renting it. I'm pretty sure ToD will at least be on par with the ps2 titles, so that should give you a good clue.

For a 2,00$ tv, you better damn well include a digital tuner, since every broadcaster will have to switch to ditigal by 2009. I'd understant if it were an older model, but who still makes these without the tuner?
The cable box is just more money that I would of had to spend, as well as hooking up, yet more cables, making my tv look like its on life support.

Yeah, just be careful. I was gonna buy a HD tv from there, until I did a bit of reseach and found that it didn't have a digital tuner. I would of been pissed since in a few years, everything wil be digital and I would have a giant black portrait on my wall.

Its a playstation mag, and they review ps games. It doesn't change the fairness of their opinions. As stated above, they were harsh on Warhawk and Lair.
Yes, I know that, but there is no way a surge protector would void any warranty. And even, by some strange loophole it does, surge protectors have crazy coverage of electronics ( i think mine is something around 50K).

Eum, if you strip down everything, you basically have a cell processor. The fuinny thing is that it's probably cheaper to use ps3's that buying cell computers. It's supply and demand, and the ps3 is ridiculously cheap.
There is a large difference. For this application, all you need is raw processing power.
The reason that the ps3 is considered hard to program is how they distribute graphics, AI, etc amongst the spu's and optimizing everything to be in sync and rendered smoothly.
