While I love my vita this begs the serious question: will this be the last Sony handheld? With so many people turning to mobile games with the convenience of already having a phone will we see big sales in portables like before? Mobiles graphics are starting to jump in leaps and bounds and it won't be long before we see console quality on mobiles. Do you think Sony will shift more to mobile years from now?

We haven't gotten MOST of the stuff uk gets and maybe never will. Where is red dead redemption? Unit 13 for ps vita? Where?! :(

So far respawn have explained teh clowd As nothing more than: MATCHMAKING. some awesome power of teh clowd... Lol.
They should drop wayyyyy more than that, price of flash memory is dirt cheap. 4.99$ 4gb, 9.99$ 8gb, 19.99$ 16gb and 39.99$ 32gb is wayyyy more reasonable.
While I do agree a GTA or MGS would be awesome for vita, it seems the handheld is a beacon for indie games. New and innovative indie games are where the industry is headed towards and with sonys new focus on developers we will be seeing many more new and interesting indie titles.
Because Sony is smart and knows indie games are where the true innovations are gonna come from next.
Right now the industry is a bit stagnant but I see a change coming with next gen. With more and more indie titles on the horizon and ps4's close relationship with indie devs there will be more innovation.

You may be right about the main markets not increasing in sales BUT emerging markets will take advantage of the lower cost.

Once they drop it down to 150$ or 199$ it will sell like crazy just like the ps2 before it. There is still plenty of life and plenty support for it.
Is pso2 vita still coming to North America?
That's what I was thinking. A Sony Xperia vita is what Sony will offer next, a subsidized phone/ console. The Xperia play is good for emulation but lack of support and low graphical power hinder its potential.
