I dont see how stopping support for the PS3 would actually benefit Activision at all. Yeah they would save in development costs & distribution but loose millions of software sales.
If they are not making a proft on games that sell 4mil copies on the PS3 then they are doing something very wrong.
I dont want to see this game released around the same time as Forza.. GT5 is in a league of its own and doesnt need to compete with Forza or any other racing game for that matter.
Lets let the 360 boys have there fun with forza this year and show them what a real racing game looks like next year ;)

OK, my opinion on dumb Activision
I believe Activision are bluffing.. COD4 sold something like 3 million copies on the PS3, you telling me that Activision would not release this game on the PS3??
I think it would hurt Activision more than Sony. Not only would they LOOSE money as these games have already been in development for the PS3 but they would seriously p*ss of fans and tarnish their own image..
