Coming from a multi console owner I am still buying the PS3 version. Even if these problems are still here a week from now I will wait. Would be gutted if it came to that though.
Hmmm, I have a 'Fat'. Have yet to switch it on today, think il give gaming a miss tonight and catch up on Lost.
Glad this didnt happen next week when FFXIII was released otherwise I would be very grumpy indeed.. Only planned on playing Critter Crunch tonight, im not going to miss that too much ;)
Still think this game will outsell 360 in lifetime sales after the initial spike, at least in the EU.

The only one il be buying is FFXIII. GOW3 is not my type of game at all but I really hope it does well as its an exclusive on my system of choice.

Yep, MS arnt going to stop shipping in Japan even though its probably not profitable... Why?
Because if they admit defeat in one region it would send negative signals to the rest of the world.
From a buyers point of view it may mean they decide to invest in different console..

The hardware and software still has another 8 months of fine tuning. of course at the moment its buggy and glitchy, otherwise it would be out already wounldnt it.

If your expecting a Mass Effect or a Fallout you will be disappointed.
What I get out of every FF is a truly engaging story that sticks with you long after, excellent character development, awesome graphics, unforgetable soundtrack.

I wish PSOne classics were like this. Revamped with trophy support and hi res. Would give me a reason to go back and play FFVII and VIII
FFX was very linear up to a point as with FFXIII. People are blowing this linearity thing out of proportion. All of FFX was a straight line.
Chapter 11 is where FFXIII opens up when you reach Grand Pulse and in FFX it was just as you reached Zanarkand.
What I did in FFX was just turn the minimap off, then it doesnt feel like your just running from A to B. Thats what I will be doing again in FFXIII.
Dont expect a massive open world game like Fallout...

Id like to know how Bioware can give us a date for DLC a month away but cant give us PS3 owners of the game a date for the Return to Ostagar expansion that we were promised a month ago... 360 owners have had it for weeks.
Its not good enought Bioware, when you release a game on multiple systems you should equally support your paying customers.
The longer you delay it the fewer people are going to buy it.. Especially if it slips into March!

Its all well and good now with a few hundered testers, what about when they launch it and have millions of people.
Also not everyone has a perfect internet connection. I rarely get over 1meg on my 8meg connection during evenings.
What about when your servers are down for maintenance?
