I own both the original and this one in glorious old school pc boxes, but, I will grab this, as I did part one, when its on a steam sale for $5
I think, without a doubt, that BG2 is as yet, the GREATEST rpg ever created
followed closely by icewind dale 1 and 2
honestly ryse looks better than anything on ps4 right now
but ryse itself looks vastly outdated compared to pc games from 2010
ps4 and xbox1 are both lagging FAR behind and very underpowered
got a 3 year warranty and buy my cards at best buy

hopefully this means that gtx 780i I have been keeping watch on comes down to $550 or so
that way I can trade in my gtx 680 and get 500 bucks and only need to spend $50 to upgrade to that sexy beast!
why is it native 900p and 30hz?
that's what 90% of ps4 games will end up being
works perfect on pc and has since day one, have got dropped from like 7 games out of the 200 I have played, never had a stat reset or lost a battlepack, emblems and unlocks and all else exactly as it should be
console versions of bf are always borked to all hell, plus they looks awful, if you are gonna play a BF game, do yourself a favor and play it on pc
at least its FAR more powerful than the ps4/xbox1
those things truthfully deliver underwhelming visuals
jaggies still all over, screen tearing still a very real problem, pop-in, low res textures, shadows that artifact and agitate all over
I really though at least sony or ms would get it right this gen, at least on of them

like your ps4 is already behind a 3 year old gaming pc, get it through your head, the ps4 is ALREADY outdated
all games on it are covered in jaggies and the screen is tearing all over and the framerates suck
and it will cost you MORE $$$ in the long run to buy over priced $65 games and pay $400 for 8 years to pay online, then pay $400 for the console and then buy stupid dlc and crappy hd remakes of games you already own because you act like sheep

and lol@ how freaking LONG it takes to get in a game, even on "next gen " consoles
on pc you just click and its literally 5 seconds and the game is ready
on ps4 that "depth of field" is freaking awful, everything just blurs out to crap, there are jaggies everywhere, the screen is tearing all over the place and the framerate sucks
I had high hopes for this, getting a bit wary, might make it a rental

a gtx 570 absolutely DESTROY the ps4 dude
the ps4 gpu is a mobile/laptop chip
that 570 alone uses more power than the entire ps4
the ps4 gpu is a 7850m type chip, the "m" means mobil/laptop
nothing like the real desktop counterpart
pc version is BY FAR the best
played about an hour or so on brothers ps4 and the jaggies are really distracting, the draw distance is way worse and the frame lags are annoying
also, the weird blur filter they are using is ugly and the textures are noticeably weaker
still beats the hell out of ps3 and 360 games but is a HUGE downgrade from pc
I'm sorry, I've played a little over an hour and it was an absolute snore
also, the fixed camera was annoying, the jaggies were out of hand and the entire thing felt repetitive
the only thing I can say nice is the particle effects are cool
every ratchet and clank game from the ps2 era is 10x better
knack is at the very most a 6/10

above 720p...get ready kiddies, its the 900p gen...lol....still choking on 1080p....but its a start <...
on pc the utmost perfection in image quality is paramount
on under-powered next gen consoles like the ps4 and xbox1, just getting the damn game to run at 30 frames is all that counts
who cares about anti aliasing and high res textures, lets just pray this 1.6 ghz cpu and laptop graphics card can run this damn thing
personally I'd rather game in 1600p without a jaggie to be found
2x msaa is HUGE for consoles, its the most next gen thing they have done so far to be honest, compared to the garbage fxaa and other hideous post process filters that xbox1 and ps4 have been using for all the other games
hopefully they stick with it and don't resort to the awful types of AA used all last gen that just blurs the image and still leaves hideous jaggies everywhere like on games like killzone shadowfall, call of duty ghosts and bf4 which all are absolutely covere...
