This sums it up perfectly. I personally can't wait to get my hands on VR and try it for myself. I really want to experience flying in VR!
I've had a ton of fun with Battlefront so far. There's no denying that it's fun to play around in this Star Wars sandbox with a group of friends.
This is a beautiful game to watch in motion. Hoping launching on the same day as Fallout didn't hurt it too much!
It's been a great year for gaming, and more specifically, great games that are gigantic and take hours and hours to complete. I feel like I'll be playing The Witcher 3, Bloodborne and its DLC, Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, and a host of others for a long time to come.
The key thing here, as mentioned in the article, is fun. If a game is fun and you're having a good time with it, at the end of the day that's all that really matters. Games are about escaping to fantastic new worlds and having a great time doing it. If this is the case, no perceived level of skill should prevent you from having a good time.
Game definitely looks awesome. I understand the story is a little dense for newcomers, but at the end of the day, gameplay trumps all and it sounds like that is where Halo 5 excels. This one sounds like it's worth a look for new or old fans alike.
Even though I've kind of lost my way with this series over the years, I can't deny that this London steampunk setting peaks my interest. Any game that channels Batman is worth a look in my book. It seems like Syndicate is the perfect opportunity to return to the series.
I think a part of this is definitely the vocal minority at play. However, I believe there is some truth in this statement: "In a sense, by giving these games away, they’re essentially (in the minds of these consumers) validating that these games aren’t worth anything."
The story of Destiny's creation, at least from a narrative standpoint, is truly incredible. You have to think that by now, Bungie knows a good story when they see one, and if they deemed Destiny's original story a disappointment, I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's great to see how the game has evolved up to this point with The Taken King, and I'm excited to see where the game goes from here. Also, when are we going to get that Mars raid?!
This really is a beautiful looking game. I haven't really played a Yoshi game since the SNES (which was an awesome game), but this one looks like it might be worth a look.
The Taken King has fundamentally changed almost every aspect of Destiny for the better. I've been playing a ton of it, and I'm really looking forward to seeing where things go from here!
I thought the Far Cry Primal announcement this week was pretty strange. It kind of came out of nowhere, and it's coming out really soon. I hope it lives up to the Far Cry name and is not just a quick cash in rush job.
Really enjoying the beta so far. Walker Assault is pretty epic and the whole Star Wars theme takes everything to the next level. Can't wait to pick this one up in November!
I didn't get a chance to fire up the beta, but I've got this one preordered and I'm really looking forward to playing something more tactical this winter. Hopefully some of the technical issues, at least the major ones, can be ironed out by then
While I haven't played Super Mario Maker yet, this looks pretty awesome. Sounds like they were able to translate the precise, impeccable mechanics of a Mario platformer into this create, play, share world. Endless amount of Mario levels to play sounds good to me!
I'm loving The Taken King so far, and more specifically the 2.0 update. It fundamentally changed the game. The quest system and UI are nicely polished, and I love all the new loot to chase after now. The Telesto fusion rifle is awesome!
The breadth and variety of games available on here is pretty impressive. They're not on the list here, but Food Fight and Super Hang-On are worth a mention too! Pretty solid collection!
Platformer? Quirky? Beautiful art style? Jetpacks?! Sounds like my kind of game!
I'm really looking forward to test in out cross-play as well. That's such an awesome feature and its keeps the communities united!
I agree wholeheartedly! Castlevania and Metal Gear are two of my favorite franchises ever! Someone needs to jump in there and rescue these beloved franchises from the clutches of Konami's iron grip. Would love to see someone like Moon Studios or Drinkbox tackle a Castlevania if one of these big publishers can get their hands on the franchise.
