You can change the music.
You might want to reconsider the basis for your (unfair) slating of this demoscene release.
Y'know, before you, like, make fools of yourself?
Oh, right... too late for that.
Never mind...
...head implodes at the sheer concept of a 'fanboy of fanboys'...
:|
Not all of them... though I admit that there are SOME duplicate videos there.
Yeah - we're expecting that on Thursday with everything else!
...'Another reason'? ...Controversy!!
Shame, I was actually looking forward to this.
A wee bit slow the now. But it does load up!
3.0 will have to have something, surely! it's going to have to be something half-decent, too...
as far as the industry is concerned, UE3 (and UE4, 5, 6, etc) are for many the lifeblood that allows any given dev to continue.
We are in the midst of an economic slump. The cost of game development has never been higher. If we want quality games as much as possible, and there is a set of tools available to a dev to utilise in order to reduce development costs, we ought to bear in mind that this would provide the devs with a far more viable option in terms of an unique game conce...
Epic... what a bizarre word... in actual fact, it dates back to a particular game release last year. All the PR was about epic this and epic that. We picked it up and ran with it...
Plus, it was to wind up one of the other writers. ;)
As for anything we know but cant say in regards to E3? shucks... no comment ;)
Always nice to hear from the devs and bigwigs in the industry... But what does that mean for the average joe?
I mean, it gives us all an insight into the thinking and such, but what I would want to know are the scarier details: how many man-hours goes into a game like this, how much did it cost, etc?
Then again, are devs likely to answer such questions? Would they even KNOW?
Like I said - sensitivity and caution, and this game could be the first of a new type of game which provides a real insight into life without trivialising things.
So do you disagree with some in the media saying that this is too soon for a game like this to be made?
There is a point there, but the question is one of freedom of expression versus sensitivity to recent events.
At least that's my take on it.
sorry... thought that the sarcasm throughout was enough...
Disclaimer: THIS WAS A SARCASTIC COMMENT
...sigh...
I think that there's a point to be made by PETA. After all, we don't want our kids to see this when they are playing the game, do we?
My 3-year-old loves that game, but he really gets upset when he has to send the dogs to heaven. In fact he has recently been eyeing our bull mastiff with a treacherous eye.
So yeah. PETA are absolutely right to point out that this is a portrayal of cruelty to animals. It is wrong and should be removed from the game immediately.

Like it says in the article - these are some of the more out-there, unhinged thoughts on the PS3 in 2009. No one says they're gospel!
No, there isn't evidence backing these up apart from what has happened before, like with ICO in the case of Heavy Rain, etc.
It's a nice game. But it simply highlights the constraints of the older generation of games. I thought that the HD meant that it would be a lot prettier then it is - the cgi-style fireball explosions and stuff just look plain odd next to the 'tooned out characters.
I dunno... Especially when there are no trophies! I suspect EU will get SSF2HDTR when the US version gets patched with trophies.
...it is interesting that these exploits and glitches are there to be shared, and some are quite funny. But isn't it a bit sad that that's the best thing about Home at the moment?
hmmm... I was a fan of the SE phones but I'm now an LG convert... this could well change my mind!
Interesting times... only one question: how come no traditional Sony PS buttons? That would be great for when using the official BT headset outand about! ;)
yeah just wait till you see the next one: 'The Bad'. All my negative predictions for 2009! :s
Worth noting to all the accusers of flame baiting etc; the site ran article with similar titles for the big PS3 releases of the latter part of the year/start of next.
It was basically because they couldn't agree on any one game, so they each took a different game and put their argument forward as to why it would be better than the other triple-A titles at the forefront of the coming months.
I think there are more still to come.
