That's the problem, calling it sci-fi Dark Souls is an oversimplification. While it clearly draws inspiration from the Souls games, there's much more to it.
All I hope is that it's not an exclusive
Horizon Zero Dawn looks better than Uncharted 4 imo
Apparently Respawn will make the new Star Wars game now, the one that Visceral was supposed to be working on.

It's not about the VR part, it's the Skyrim part. It's an amazing game, but Bethesda needs to learn to let go.
Exactly. And seeing the amount and popularity of multiplayer titles, it's very likely to happen.
So....what's Sony's excuse for Rocket League?
Get in a car and drive off with them.....off a cliff :P
Really hyped for Shadow of the Colossus!
Even Nintendo, a company who rarely made any third party deals for their platforms has opened up to the idea of expanding their third party library and adding cross-play for the Switch. I hope Sony realizes that with the heavy focus on multiplayer these days, the demand for cross-play is only going to increase
That's the actual reason Sony gave? What a sorry excuse.. XD
Not having cross-play with other devices, especially in multiplayer heavy third party titles is only going to harm them in the long run.
Great list. Will miss you a lot, old friend.
By that logic, every game that has been released in the past few years is a mimicry of some old game or the other. Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Tyranny, Andromeda, Witcher 1/2/3, Fallout 3/4. Name one new game that doesn't have something you haven't seen in an older title. Elder Scrolls Daggerfall had procedural generation years before No Man's sky, I'm sure some game had it even before that. Even the Witcher series did not "invent" anything new.
I haven't seen a single review that gives Breath of the Wild less than a 5/5 or 10/10 rating. Amazing how Nintendo's over two decade old IPs are still as amazing as they first came out.
Agreed. As long as they get the story and the delivery right, it's going to be great.
:(
It's like Inquisition only, I think.
I meant the individual levels in general. The trilogy had path restrictions, where you couldn't jump down certain platforms, couldn't cross certain points. Getting rid of those may just add some depth to level exploration as well.
Drats. I was so excited about Mass Effect going open world
What the hen.
