I wonder how much they would take a hit if PC gaming ever moves away from windows to an expanded steam os that's that maybe comes pre installed on gaming laptops and pc's or maybe they produce their own steam pc's.
I was really underwhelmed with Yakuza 0 on switch 2 compared with when I played on PS4. I played kiwami 1 and 2 on Steam Deck so it'll be interesting to compare them
Is it worth doing any sort of Nintendo fan project? Surely they will just get it shut down.
Phil has turned Xbox around for the shareholders. Its never about the gamers.
Don't forget they've put a lot of these on gamepass and ps plus so you can add that money to it. Good to see Sega going strong
Can't, got no snacks
I wonder if this was supposed to have OLED in its Switch Pro guise but when they delayed and changed their plans they decided to do what they did before and sell the OLED version later. They know we all double dip.
Took xbox a long time to realise that steam os is its biggest competitor. Wonder how good the new Xbox OS will be and if they can incorporate quick resume somehow as that coupled with a proper steam like standby could be a big win as long as they can get closer in performance.
I think people are getting confused between Cloud Gaming Catalogue and PS Plus. Forza Horizon 5 hasn't been added to PS Plus it's just been added to the service that allows you to play games you have purchased via their cloud service.
I wonder how different it would've been if they had a Nvidia APU with DLSS
Sounds expensive, it’s going to struggle to sell when the casuals will stick to the far cheaper and optimised for Switch 2. I love my Ally X but this is going to be approaching 5060 laptop territory in pricing.
Price might go back down if they get their payday from the claim against Open AI
You had this new console and probably a nice new big tv but you were spending your time looking at your phone?!
At least people in Sweden are happier?
I wonder if OLED VRR flicker would’ve been a consideration. Am I right in thinking it would’ve been a big problem for the games which will likely benefit in the high 40’s to 50’s fps?
They only need to make an Xbox OS for the windows handhelds. No need for them to make the hardware, less risk that way.
Yeah they should've made it 12GB to make properly scalable. It would be nice next get if for example PS6 and the rumoured handheld could run the same games with just settings changed.
Gives people less buyers regret that way at least
Is it worth them doing another steam deck when they are putting their os on other handhelds?
Feels like a cheaper way to gauge interest in the franchise before going fully fledged on a sequel.
