I work for a big Corp. All these massive companies are fos. They make bad decisions that clearly bad ideas then when things tank they lay people off and increase prices.
The ps5 was supposed to be a 4k/60 machine so wym. No one asked for a $700 mid gen console. It simply wasn't smart. And yes they've done greedy tactics in the past.

Yeah PS6 should target $600. I think in this day in age $500 just isn't big enough of a jump to leave last gen behind. $700 however is too steep of an entry price
Pro consoles don't seem necessary for this gen simply due to how slow it started. Then you give it a 700 price tag with no disk drive just make it pointless in my opinion. Campaign was trash but the MP is arguably the best in the series. Refreshing combat while staying true to the Halo vibe.
