Yep it works. MS don't care as they get their money wherever you buy from. I got Killer Instinct and Tomb Raider from US stores and have no problem playing them on my UK account.

I was talking about all the extra chips that offload processes from the CPU and gpu . No secret hardware. The breakdowns already stated there is chips in X1 that they didn't know what they were used for.

It has been stated that Xbox has full DX12 capability. It has also been stated by Nvidia that GPUs will need extra new hardware for full DX12 capability.
Conclusion: Xbox already has the new hardware and is waiting for software(dx12) to use it. Xbox released early before DX12 was ready so they didn't lose too much ground to PS4.
I'm in UK. Just checked out one guide and I've got it. I am in the beta preview though.
I don't have a satellite or cable box though so useless to me. I ran through the set up skipping the HDMI checks and you get to put in postcode and then choose sky, virgin, Freeview etc.
It gave me all the listings so it works just need to get a separate Freeview HD box so I can use it!

I think the parity clause needs to go for Indie games. I only have Xbox and I'd rather get a game late than never. I'm not going to go out and buy a PS4 just for an Indie game and I doubt many Xbox owners would either so I can't see them losing out in long run.
Obviously I expect it to stay in place for big full price titles as I would be pissed if they were to release for example an new Assassins Creed and it came out first on PS4.

There is but they also turned off kinect for chat in game I think. So only works if you put head set on. Which is great as in PvZ you get way too much voice from people who don't know kinect is on!
Actually its very tame on Xbox One. I think all COD brats are still on 360 or gone to PS4. Haven't heard any abuse on Titanfall. Its actually kind of strange. The party system also kinda stopped this sort of thing most people are in party chat.
Just make a US account its pretty easy.
Problem this gen is that both consoles are basically PC in a box so the devs can pretty much push them to limit straight away.
Don't expect as big a graphical jump over time as was possible with previous generation. As for games in 2020 they will look better but you will be playing them on a PS5 or Next Xbox.

They won't get rid of it. Who cares if the games are crap. That's only one use. It is great for voice control, Skype, Twitch, auto sign in, and leaning and looking around in BF4.
Its adds a lot without the full motion control games so that's why they'll never get rid of it.
