So Microsoft just bought bethesda & bethesda are still going to be multiplat. So I am in fact better off trading in for ps5 as I'll still be able to play bethesda games? So I don't need to trade in for the series x well this whole acquisition has been a complete waste of time if I am reading that right their's still no reason to get an xbox as all these studios will be available on ps5.
If they were moving away from the hardware market I don't think they'd be entering a new generation while selling their console at what is quite clearly a loss that doesn't make a lot of sense.
Microsoft earn money from all over not just users but developers use windows 10 to build games. I'm sure Microsoft make money in just about every aspect of modern tech.
Microsoft makes US$7.8 Billion a year. As much as this deal looks like a pain to recuperate on those terms alone it's really not. They'll make this money back through interest by next September on a $trillion alone.

See to be fair after the Sony show I was for trading my X in for ps5. I had gamepass & it didn't have much for me but now I'm thinking differently. I'm still 50/50 but even I can see after they acquired bethesda Microsoft has the power & finance to buy anything they want. They've already changed gaming with this acquisition alone.
Neither has Microsoft you think their going to stop at bethesda this shows just how serious Microsoft is & they have the funds to buy a lot more as I'm sure they probably will.

It makes perfect sense the only place you can play these games is on xbox or pc/xcloud. Essentially xbox could corner the market & it'll be 150 million xbox players in the future. Also this shows that other massive studios are fair game.
Microsoft is changing gaming as we know it. They have the $$$ to do essentially whatever they want & their gonna force gamepass on just about every platform including pc. How is steam going to take it they've just lost some massive players & I don't see Bethesda remaining on steam.

I'm 87 hrs in & I'm still enjoying it though I did take a month off from it as it can become repetitive but I will finish it.
