They need to get the dev cycles in order, honestly. 40mil for a dev cycle is unacceptable.
It's not good for the industry, Call of Duty is good for Activision. It does nothing for anyone else.
The free online never stopped people before from going to xbox, there is still a larger number of players playing online games like Call of Duty on 360 than PS4
While I feel the article does make some assumptions, I often find that when game developers talk about how revolutionary their game it, it normally isn't. Bungie is really blowing a lot of smoke about this game. Some of the stuff sounds really cool, like the dynamic world..but often times, it is really just what everyone else is doing with a fancy name. You could say that Oblivion was a dynamic world, was it really? Not completely. I worry that Bungie is going to tell us how amazing this ...

Have you actually played DayZ, it was the most tense game I ever played.
The problem isn't the hardcore gamer reading the review, it's the casual gamer who sees it and doesn't get the game because they hear it's something that it isn't.
Did you read on to the point where GW2 was addressed?
It makes more sense if you read all his stuff regarding the Mass Effect 3 ending. It wasn't so much as "I am not going to write about Mass Effect because I hate it" I think it's more, "I have wrote way to many Mass Effect articles lately, and I need to stop" sort of thing.
At this point, it's become a running joke because he starts all of his Mass Effect articles that way now.
I would suggest at least waiting 2 months to see if anyone else still actually plays. That's the perfect test for MMOs, wait 2 months, if it doesn't lose 70% of the player base then go for it.
It's not like there won't be anything else to play while you wait.
Let's all be honest here. This is just another MMO that is going to come out with a ton of buzz, everyone is going to play for 2 months and then quit...it happens every time. The game will be bought out by a "MMO Graveyard" and go free to play.
That's how it works, that's the cycle.
You also need to remember, this is from FunCom, the makers of Age of Conan. That game had so much buzz upon release, and had an amazing first 20 levels. The...

You are trying to project your small sample size of experience over the ladder as a whole. Overall, you really have no idea what you are talking about.
How many games have you played? The system is designed to get more accurate as you play more games, if you have only play 20 games are are complaining, well, you aren't giving the system enough time to see where you stand.
Without letting us know how many games were played, we don't know the accuracy of the article.
I have played in many 2v2 groups, some good, some bad, I find that we tend to average out and games become good even matches the more ga...
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move should be pretty fun.
