i dont think either one is "awful"... but this goes back to why are we always comparing FPS with TPS? i think gears has better online play but they both have their moments

although i think COD4 is a great second shooter (maybe first) for the ps3....but on topic, these do look alot better but i dont think they look "great".. however i think it will more than compensate with the 4player co op and the nectar thing. so im stoked for it, finally and i think it will hold me over FPSwise til resistance 2!

if i get a new tv for the bedroom, i am def gettin this for it! I am skeptical tho since i love my launch day 60gig and dont know what to expect from the new ones but THIS IS SWEETNESS....bring the pain!

yeah, those scopes are such a turnoff i dont even bother, they need some improving to compete with the red dot!
yeah, i was not impressed with the demo, but never played in on xbox, although i hear it was not fun at all... however i dont see what the problem with AC was, i think regardless of console, either you liked it or not, i did not think it was bad on ps3...imho

agreed but i dont think it lacks in anything, the pics are at a huge resolution, so on a 1080p tv they'll still look phenom, and im as stoked about this game as anyone else but lets stop beating a dead horse with these same pics over n over, it only opens it up for criticism

i still remember vividly when they both launched and im gonna be gettin R2 for sure, but God i hope they advertise.... thats key, everytime i turned around it was another commercial for gears and i never saw any for resistance. but if it outdoes gears with no advertising thats really sayin somethin!
i just need to know this.... "FPS - 360 already owns and will be difficult to budge, expecially with unproven IP's (R2,KZ2,haze) compared to gears 1" first of all, how is Resistance unproven with mulitmillion copies of R1 sold, even with a low install base at launch

you do realize that GEARS is a TPS right, so i really dont see it satisfying the itch for a FPS as much. it will be a great game but i dont see it touching RESISTANCE!
