Gabe had said "It will be done when it's done" about Half-Life 2 if I remember correctly, I guess they are saying Gabe has earned the right to say that but I think that one of the dudes responsible for creating the fps genre has that right too.
The truth is that Halo on the normal difficulty is very average, but play it on hard or legendary and it's a completely different story. If you have played any of the others on legendary and still don't like them then I highly doubt Halo 4 will change your mind.

Demon's Souls tops every game on that list if you ask me, plus Arkham City and Gears 3 were sequels to far superior games, dunno what these guys were thinking.

I was blown away when I found out it was him doing Penguin in Arkham City, he was incredible in that role. I wish he'd do more stuff like that instead of just doing the Nathan Drake voice again and again.

What's with everybody judging games based on snippets of information these days? For now, there is absolutely no reason to believe that Halo 4 will not advance the Halo franchise, and so what if Spartan Ops reminds you of Spec Ops? Will that diminish the fun at all? Spec Ops was a good mode so why not take inspiration from it?
I think Fez deserves a spot on this list, that and Journey are the only two games that really impressed me this year.
