The hardcore gamers ARE the people buying the PS5 day one, crashing retail sites trying to preorder it, and hyping it up on the internet, and lining up for midnight launches.
It's not getting a lot of positive reception. Don't blame them either, stripping out more than half the features for what 30 extra minutes of game time? Nah, it'll be good for kids under 10 but even they might find it lacking especially when they find out their friend has the bigger model that switches between tv and handheld and has the detachable controllers with rumble and motion controls.
At most, you can say it's for young kids but still, more than half the features have been taken out. The longer battery life adds 20-30 more minutes onto the playtime so hardly difference. Hoping around different sites, general reactions are not impressed with this. For the regular prices, you can have more features and options.
I can't believe they wasted money and went through with this. It completely counters the entire point of the Switch. Being able to SWITCH from TV to Handheld seamlessly. Not to mention you are robbing players of a second controller out of the box. The Switch doesn't need a Lite version it's already fantastic as a portable. Longer battery life is definitely a plus but outside of that, you are getting way less value.

It's the best expansion to any mmo ever. Every area is amazing, the music is fantastic, the story is great, dungeons are well designed and stunning.
