Why do people always complain about Killzone 2 having less ranks?
I mean sure COD4 had 10 prestige ranks but what did you really earn?

Takes me half hour tops,and Killzone 2's demo didn't even hit the half hour mark.
They wear the masks because the majority of the original Helghast worked in the mining camps on Helghan,filled with noxious fumes low visibility etc etc.
It's now worn as a symbol,being incredibly patriotic and independant it's seen as a united front,one face,one people.
Hence Viscari's comment in the beginning video "we shall fight as one mind,one heart and one soul"

If a game soley based on torturing animals came out,i wouldnt touch it either.
The fact is as you said,this is simulating a war where attack dogs were used,it isn't about KILLING the dogs solely,it's just an added feature that was actually used during WW2.

in real life of course,cruelty to animals causes pain and suffering,which nobody wants to see.

One of the best levels in the game IMO.
Crysis has better graphics than Killzone 2.
Fact.
Killzone 2 just has a better artistic style and atmosphere.
Do not confuse graphics with style,ever i can admit that and i think KZ > Crysis.
Do NOT put a third faction in Killzone 3.
personally i'd love a campaign on a galaxy wide scale,different levels played on different colonial planets as the Helghast declare fullscale war.
Eg - 5 or six planets,each with a few levels.
that kind of idea could work Online-wise as well,clans picking a ISA or Helghast then fighting over strategic points on different planets.
A long shot i know,but imagine if they could make it work?
