Good to see the community is speaking out against these crooks... but come on! QUOTE THE SOURCE!
Well maybe the author exaggerated a little, but that is expected in this industry. Although, the cost behind this production seems a little high for what the peripheral actually is.... they also bought the company which should definitely have left some kind of fiscal mark on them. If Natal does bomb, though it may not necessarily mean game-over, can have a devastating effect on Microsoft (like the author mentioned), therefor starting the down-spiral of the company in more than one way - a few...
They actually said it is approximately half way through it´s life cycle... and by the time Natal launches it will be more than half way leaving roughly a year and a half left of it´s prime.
I say prime because I know that even after the release of the 720(or whatever it is called), the 360 will still be going strong.
EDIT:
I still agree with your post. It was well written. I just seem to see what the author if this thread is trying to get at. ...
Well, the speculation isn´t so far fetched, it is within reason. It just doesn´t seem right for MS to be releasing a peripheral of this caliber so late through the life cycle.
This is what the industry is all about- opinions, speculations, and analysis. I am glad the author has an opinion- after all, he is what, also a part of the democratic?
One of the more intelligent replies to this article. I think that is exactly what the author was saying. Would you even spend 100 on a peripheral that may be integrated into a next generation console that is due out a year an half later?
Re-read the article Stan. Where does the article mention that they are considering abandoning their core market. This article simply hints that Natal is being launched too soon.
I hope this article gets approved.
I don´t think anyone has actually read the article. The title maybe a little bit of an attention grabber but there is nothing in it that suggests flamebaiting or fanboyism. I agree. Project Natal is launching a little too late through the console´s lifecycle.
83 is better than i expected. the only poopy review i´ve seen so far was ign´s. think i´ll pick this game up.
I am a little anxious to see what happens next.
I would like to apologize. I was in a bad mood yesterday.
I think the public response to his comment is enough for him to retract it.
"I know money is wonderful, but sometimes you got to spend it to make it." Pretty much sums it up. I have high hopes for Sony.
... and it does something many other games "do".
Are you kidding? Who approved of this worthless article. Who ever wrote it must surely have IQ of an autistic ape. The grammar is horrible, and the article itself is a joke. I am no fan of AA - but if this is the sort of democratic it is pulling in then wow!
No, no, no. I am just afraid that it might be. I may be proven wrong, though. Lets hope! After all, if it is, it´s just me that loses.
I agree with this article... I´m afraid Alan Wake will be nothing more than another generic sandbox game.
Crazy.... filthy eskimo predicted this score.
I guess this dude has played the game so you can count this as a review, in away. lol
Regardless of that - I am glad someone finally wrote about this crap and exposed that little fatty for what he is! I read the entire thread, and what really freakin´ sucks is that, that kid got away with it. Karma you little lard-ass. Hope this article front pages N4G so the world can see what these geek-thugs look like!
