Demons Soul was released BEFORE Sony made the acquisition.
Sony essentially acquired an entire studio specializing in remasters, only to shut it down without a single game to show for it, as they redirected the team to work on a live service project.
Again, since the acquisition, not one game has been released.
LOL best comments I have read in a while :)
Tks for the info!
Tks for the update!
Wishing your team the best of luck and hoping for the best :)
Really wishing you the best luck and hoping it will improve in the future.
Keep up the good fight!
I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.
It's not a big issue since we're talking about the 360 version from 15 years ago.
The PS4 saves carry on, but there's no free pass for PS3 owners.
If you own the digital version of the game, you should be able to get the remastered version for free. The key is to manually purchase it when it shows as free. If it’s not free right now, wait a day or two, as some people have had issues with the upgrade appearing immediately.

Just a reminder, people who own the digital version of the game on Xbox 360 can upgrade for free. Unfortunately, save files from the 360 won’t carry over to the remastered version.
No VR games, DS, 3DS, or Vita titles have ever won GOTY, so maybe they’re just overlooked?
The truth is, some of the media nominated to be jurors lack a real background or exposure to games beyond what’s mega popular.
In Canada, most of the Canadian jurors are not directly connected to gaming—CBC is a government TV channel, Le Devoir is a French political newspaper, and Mobile Syrup covers general tech products. They’re unlikely to research or play these games, instead nomin...
Feel like FF16 meets Darksoul
Maybe Journo should be reminded of how the Game Awards nominations work, so they wouldn’t be surprised by:
- "Donkey Kong Bananza’s inclusion feels like The Game Awards are throwing a bone to Nintendo,"
- "Funnily enough, no Xbox games were nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025, marking a rough year for the console."

I'm really curious about the why?
Honestly why?
A demonstration of what could cost the console if there were no tariffs or export barriers?
An aggressive move to counter Nintendo, PC, etc.?
A part of a bigger move?
Again, we don't really have an explanation :)
The answer is simple
"Moneyyyyyyyy!"
This isn’t about defending them; it’s about calling out the hypocrisy of journalism suddenly analyzing ad campaigns just to jump on the "MS is dead" clickbait trend that’s been gaining traction over the past month. This is clear when you consider that there won’t be any Eurogamer articles breaking down the current "It Happens on PS5" campaign with the same journalist, who could question why they’re creating moments that can’t even be experienced on PS5 if the main goal of ...
I actually read the entire article, which is why I referenced the part about what the commercial is trying to convey in my comment. Let me address most of his irrelevant questions and points.
"If the man is starved of new games, why is the returns box stacked with games?"
He's waiting for the return of the new, cool game that is currently out of stock, amidst all the other titles.
"In the old days, you could rent all new rele...
Wow, this really shows how clueless some journalists can be or how desperate they are for clicks on the Xbox hate train.
Before: (The past and why it's 360 games) People used to rent video games at a store, and the newest good games were always out, hence the guy waiting for the return of GEARS.
Now: You can STILL rent games via Game Pass, where you don’t need to go to a store, and your title is always available.
What the commercial...
Like a price parity clause that stops the game developer from offering their game at a lower price on another storefront?

“Valve’s PMFN prevents any publisher that sells a game on Steam from either (a) selling that game on a rival platform for a lower price (price ...
