pointless? the topic is a hot debated one on the bioware forums ...
Due to respect to the magazine's publishers there are no scans of GameInformer's article
Some say quite the opposite though
Actually we already know more than just a few bulletpoints

I believe BioWare is approaching this direction to _directly_ compete with The Witcher 2
Nice insights!
Can't wait for part two.
I'll agree with the whole Landsmeet farce. The one game where I intended on romancing Alistair until the end, things went horribly wrong. I was playing an elf, so I knew he couldn't make her queen, thus my intention was to make Anora queen and keep Alistair in the Wardens, as he wanted.
I suppose it can be viewed in direct relation to Paladins, knights of the church that have magical abilities that are burrowed and emerges from the divine source as oppose to magic of mages that purely derive from their own talents. It looks like Mages & Gods have always been in conflict as the Tevinter mages tried to rule heaven itself & have failed, to see the wrath of the gods bestowed down upon them. It was the mages poor representation of humanity that have led to the great trage...
it's awesome ... give it a try.
