The demo didn't show the ending though, which is a big part of the anger towards the game. I don't think anyone is denying that ME3 is a good game.
^this. Your opinion automatically doesn't count if you haven't even seen the ending lol. But even once they do, there fanboy love will put them so much in denial they won't be able to come back here and admit it.
So basically its the people who are complaining versus everyone else? Normally I'd laugh at the complainers because they never have justified reasons. It's different this time though, there are legitimate concerns and everyone is brushing them aside because Mass Effect is a great game. The game has cut content from the disc and a ridiculous ending. These are the two main complaints that are actually worth debating yet everyone is in some kind of illusion that this isn't a problem....

QTEs are good for GoW probably because they've been apart of the series since the very beginning. That's just my take on it though.
One weapon in this game? I can't even find logic behind this. I swear, sometimes I feel game designers just want there games to get criticized.

Trust me, I did want this game, very badly. When ME2 came out for PS3 I jumped for joy lol. I played that game constantly. I was more than ready to buy this day one, but then I heard about the dlc... It's not easy, but I'm going to stick to my principles.
I have yet to play ME3, but by this description it sounds EXACTLY like the plot from dragon age. Can't help but remember that graph that was floating around a few years ago that had basically the plot of all Bioware games being the same.
I believe that is just an excuse for developers to nickel and dime us. There's no question DVD is a horrible format for games of this gen, but dlc doesn't have to cost anything. With the case of ME3, I don't believe it took up the entire space on the disc. If it did, there is no reason for this dlc to cost anything. It could have easily been free dlc. I really did want this game, but I'm not going to put up money on tactics like this.

No regeneration in shooters makes them so much more enjoyable. Not that fun when you can take a million bullets and recover in 3 seconds lol
Yea, I did exaggerate on it being very bad. I did like when it started to open up at chapter 11. I grinded my ass off till all characters where as maxed as they could be for what they allowed. I agree that the people who said it was terrible probably didnt put enough time in the game, but can you honestly blame them? Having to put 20 hours into the game until it starts to become exciting isn't really a plus. I myself only played that much because I'm a huge fan of the series in genera...
I heard Lumines was really fun, with the new rpg elements added to it. Played the demo.....forgot that I'm just outright terrible at those type of games lol

While I agree with you that it does seem like it has become the "cool" thing to hate on this game, it does deserve some of it. As soon as 13 became multiplat the hate started. ff type zero has still only been released in japan though. When it gets localized I think it will do pretty good numbers. 13-2 has just really had poor sales all around. 350k first month? I had to make sure I wasn't reading "first week"
@tokugawa I'm not disagreeing with you, it's impossible for all games to cater to everyone, but what games don't you like from Sony? Just a question. I think that for the amount of exclusives they put out, a lot of them are pretty well done.
