i'll agree with the bad dialogue at times, but sometimes the dialogue has surprised me. it has its good and its bad points.

first of all, there shouldn't be an MGS movie. it will undoubtedly tarnish the franchise. if they do make one and it comes out, i'm just gonna get pissed off.
second, the actors you people suggest are incredibly dumb. liam neeson? are you ****ing kidding me? too old, has his own distinct voice, and too tall. ppl say taken showed how badass he was. it only showed how unrealistic his combat was (watch the last half of the movie). the movie was mediocre at best btw.
