Also, Vista (like XP) comes pre-packaged on every computer now in production. So to say that it's emerging as the largest OS is kind of speaking testament to the fact that it's being forced down our throat.

I want you guys to realize that this is Game DEVELOPERS Conference, people confuse the purpose of GDC with E3, it's more about emerging people in the industry, emerging technology and development tools.
Although, since E3 is basically dead and MTV is covering GDC this year, it may be more oriented toward gamers and less toward professionals.
