they lost me from the ps4 tbh. Its just been uncharted and last of us. I bet that new IP will be right along the lines of last of us. Hyper realistic, no distinct artstyle, basic shooting gameplay, and maybe some cool set pieces here and there.

I personally think they started falling off after Uncharted 2. U3 was good but it didn't really feel like a big enough step up from U2, U4 is more of the same with prettier graphics, Last of us 1's story is what everyone praises it for. Gameplay was pretty basic and while last of us 2 has improved gameplay from the first, it's still nothing special to me.
It's still wild to me that for 2 whole generations they only made Uncharted and last of us. They've become such a boring studio
Yea I don't think one can make that strong an argument for it but for me personally rape is a prolonged thing. I don't wanna see a guy grossly pleasuring himself while the victim is either screaming, crying, or just shocked from fear or something. Even if a rape scene is implied and not shown I still know how it goes down and it'll still leave me feeling uncomfortable.

By custom moves I mean something like being able to swap mario's up B move with maybe some kind of tanuki thing or cat suit recovery move. I think major changes like that would be much more welcome than just making him shoot a faster fireball or something.
Also I say melee felt more fleshed out cuz it introduced all sorts of shit. The trophies, adventure mode, all star, special melee, event matches, home run contest, multi man, etc and brawl just added even more to that...
I still don't even think ultimate is THAT great. There's a lot that they can do. Revamp movesets, bring back Custom specials, have new mini games, plenty of new stages they can create, bring back boss battles, etc. Just having a lot of characters and stages doesnt make this the ultimate smash to me. Melee and Brawl felt like much more fleshed out games than ultimate.
