I think alot of aussies don't download off steam due to our smaller usage allowances (unless your paying $150+).
My max speed is 165 KB/s and it's been at that since it started downloading :)

KOTOR II was still great, enjoyed it a lot.
Can anyone tell me if ME will run on a 9500gt? Even on low-med settings? Bought it because I just found that most steam content is unmetered for me \o/

'09 lacked xbox 360 exclusives, but as a multiplatorm owner '09 was an awesome year. KZ2, Infamous, AC2, L4D2, UC2, Demon Souls, Batman AA, MW2..ahh :)
Yep, if you hadn't played the ps2 masterpieces like ICO, MGS, GoW + more..bc then comes in handy, BUT bc is part of why the ps3 was more expensive (correct me if I'm wrong) so with the money your saving you might as well buy a ps2 with it..they're dirt cheap now.
I'd say it is very casual in the sense that it's a noobs game IMO. You can't really separate higher and lower skilled people because of stuff like auto-aim, all the perks, overpowered side weapons, too many camping spots..

I fully agree with you. Halo is in no way a bad looking game, and the physics (hit detection) is surprisingly good. You can throw a spike grenade and it'll stick to a frag grenade in midair..if a plasma hits you on the hand you can throw a plasma that will carry the first one with it. Its just awesome when you really look at it. Theater and forge add alot of replayability.
That's what alot of people also forget..UC2 and KZ2 are 720p (correct me if I'm wrong) which is 1280x720..my cheap ass (and I mean cheap!!) 9500gt is running crysis most very high no aa in 720p with solid frames!
Everyone is spreading the same bs. I'm pretty sure he said Unreal Engine 4 will be for next-gen and now everyone is assuming that means Gears 3 too. There was nooo mention of Gears 3 on next-gen platforms
Above everything, both Sony and Microsoft have great games next year and I recommend single-console owners to buy whatever it is you don't have, it'll be worth it!

The first 2 or 3 hours might feel a bit slow but don't worry, after that things pick up and the fun factor increases 10 fold (imo anyway).
I am one of those people that loved AC1, even finished it twice. AC2 I think is one of my top games

Games like L4D2 are no fun at all without gore and limb wreckage :P

I believe it was in-game as they stated themselves that it is the opening scene of the game (or part of it), and Halo games never have cg cutscenes.
The graphics are great and I only hope they're the same during gameplay. The visor reflections look good too

If reach is marketed like Halo 3, then yes..I'm sure it'll be more though, since Reach is their biggest project yet
