Exactly that, it's a good game right now and I can see it being a great game once released.
I didn't like it, but recently gave it a longer play and now I can't stop playing..the thing I like about this game is the high latency is hardly noticeable (can't find australian server due to buggy browser)

Gears of War is definitely not bland las gen graphics!
The game which marked the beginning of this generation is debatable, though graphics wise I noticed the biggest jump with Gears of War (referring to early console days)
No we are not sadistic. I can play any gory game no worries, guts on the screen..eyeballs rolling around 'meh'. But I CANNOT watch 2 seconds of a real decapitation or even listen to the sound for 2 seconds, it's f***ing sick and utterly disturbing

I believe we'll get an R18+ rating sooner rather than later. I was gifted L4D2 on steam, and I can hardly imagine what it would be like censored
