A discourse on the thematic links between Portal and Hamlet? 10000 degrees, easy!
I just can't see the appeal to be honest. 3D seems bonkers and unnecessary on such a tiny screen.
...And yet, there are precisely ZERO Xbox 360 exclusives on that list. lol Are you *sure* you agree with that?
Is he really 'Scene-Stealing' though? When I think of a scene-stealing villain, I think of smart-ass/cool wisecracking villains.
He clearly isn't pointing the gun at the screen. Epic fail. lol
I think the point he's trying to make is that just because the games are from the same genre, it doesn't mean they will mesh together well. Tekken and SF use completely different fighting styles.
Just because they can't afford to drop the ball doesn't mean they wont. Video games are usually always filled with good intentions -- but some are destined to fail.
I suspect that was a deliberate ploy to get more people to click...
The first page has a link to a cosplay gallery that is infinitively more appealing...
It's creepy beacuse someone spent hours painting that picture solely to fulfil their own sexual gratification.
Wait, so anyone can join, regardless of looks? Er, so what is the appeal of the service, exactly? I'm confused...
From the article: "gritty action, challenging gameplay and cinematic storylines."
I think that's a pretty fair assessment of hardcore - you dont need to include all these of course, but a hardcore title has at least one of the above elements.
You guys do realise that the popular perception of the ninja never actually existed, right?
They are mentioned only once historically, and it's for a botched bomb that went off in their faces.
The 'masked assassin' was created by manga and Hollywood.
The list says 'top ten video game ninjas', not 'top ten accurate ninjas'.
Rikimaru might have been a more true-to-life ninja, but he was also pretty boring and had a bland character design. Ryu is badass, looks cool and has a more interesting storyline.
Also, why is there hardly any coverage of Sony's 3D games on the big gaming sites? Surely Sony must have sent them all a 3D TV by now, even if it's just for a quick loan. This is like, the first proper review I've seen and it's not even a gaming website.
"And obviously the 360 doesn't do Blu-ray so PS3 will also support 3D 1080p movies."
Are you sure about that? The linked article claims that you still need a seperate 3D Blu-ray player to watch 3D movies.
Yeah, but the PS3 received a specific firmware update to make it work in 3D. To my knowledge, the Xbox 360 hasn't.
Also, MS isn't really saying much about 3D or releasing any Xbox Live 3D downloads.
So what's the deal with Xbox 360? Are they doing a 3D firmware update too? Or does this stuff only work for Blu-ray?
Just because it's the same website doesn't mean it was the same author. Just sayin'.
"Look at your Kinect. Now back to me. Now back to your Kinect. Now back to me. ...Sadly, the Kinect is a P.O.S."
