It looks awesome, but the demo must be old, I mean it's the same track and car from e3 (?) or gamescon (?).
I'm sure that a more recent demo would have more day/night switch, better graphics and framerate.

10 hours for platformer is good, and since the game can be extremely hard it may take quiet a while.
I mean the original Sly Cooper was 6 hours long and was a great game.
I own one of these copies, seriously everyone was talking about it one week ago.
