Normally games that have bad feedback before lauch tend to get 6-7 reviews, such has :Ryse,Knack and Destiny.
This one only had good feedback around gameplay and graphics.

For FFXV you may be right, for what I've saw it seemed irrelevant for the franchise. The graphics are good ,as expected, but the battle mechanics looked similar with XIII which is not a good thing. Plus, the world seemed generic as in NY generic.
But I'll buy both anyway.
