the only "credible"(take it with a grain of salt as usual) sale number i found was via vgchartz, so whats your source for that 2.74 march number?
AND btw, lets just put stuff in perspective, the switch sold 1.64 globally since launch, yet the ps4 sold 1 million in 24hr in north america alone at a higher pricetag.
so hey nintendo, wanna try someting clever and see what is a real interest toward your product instead of an inflated buzz based on phoney demand? thats simple, SUPPLY>DEMAND and see how many you will sell until the demand is fulfilled, then and only then you will get real numbers and a clear picture......
my local ebgame is getting 2 switch per 2 weeks, one neon and the other grey, nintendo are straight up incompetent when you talk about supply, its easy to say an item is always sold out and "in high demand" when you can't even do a decent job at supplying the retailers, my local ebgame had over 170 ps4 units at launch and sold it all on launch day, then they kept receiving massive amount of units each weeks for MONTHS(my sister worked there for 3 years, always been a good client...

dont really want to beat a dead horse... but off course its popular since MS has to rely on BC as a crutch because they dont really have any games to play on their system.
the demo was great, took me maybe 15 min to clear it, now at 26.99$ i find it kinda pricey and will wait for a deal before buying it.(waiting for 19.99$)
look pretty tame for a TECH DEMO with no level or ai/enemies to handle, just a single picture/"scene" to display make it way less impressive then you think.
