I can't wait until someone writes an article about how good the PS3 is doing, because if history repeats itself, there will be an onslaught of copy cat articles saying exactly what the first article said. OK lets go ahead and say the PS3 is doomed. If that is the case, then Xbox 360 is one year closer to the impending doom, considering they sold at roughly the same rate on a year to year basis. The only thing I ever get out of 'The Rumor Killers' is the fact that they start even more rumors. Rumors about rumors about rumors, and so on.
The NXE is not as great as everyone claims it is ( IMO ). I would have preferred a blade overhaul or something like that, maybe add a Netflix and movies blade etc.. streamline it a little better. The NXE is a lot more confusing as to where to find the content you are looking for, and presents itself in pastels and big headed pastel avatars that do nothing but spew lame. Even my 8 year old prefers the way it used to be.

I think this game will be great. Hopefully they pull it off, and it comes out this year. I have been waiting for a game like this to come to PS3. Not sure why they cannot bring Everquest, but oh well. I will probably pick up Sacred 2: Fallen Angel to hold me till this on comes out. It is not an MMO, per se, it is more like a Diablo clone. Hopefully they improve Sacred 2 since its PC release.

usual Xbox 360 owner replies. "We don't need all of those features". Although, if they had the features and PS3 did not, it would be used as ammo, just like the 'feature ammo' they use now. Such as, "we have cross game invites", "Netflix", etc... I am not a Xbox hater, just a PS3 supporter. In fact, my son is playing the Skate 2 demo as I type on the 360. He enjoys the 360 more than I, and I enjoy the PS3 more than him.
About one thing.....Old Tech is cheaper.
What MTV does not want to spell out for you is the fact that it is based on PS3 and PSP accounts. They say the accounts are for PS3 and PSP but then go on to say that Sony does not even have that many PS3's sold. So which is it? Are they doing good or bad? Well I am in the beta, and I can say that it does add to the PS3 experience. I have met people I would not have otherwise over a game of bowling, then decided to launch into some Warhawk. It brings a great sense of community, sure you will have you A-Holes, but overall I am looking forward to the open beta, with the added features.
It did not turn out to be a $250.00 bowling machine (to me anyway). Don't get me wrong, bowling was amazing on the Wii, but I could not get into any of the other games besides Mario Galaxy. I think people will start to see the fad, and we will start to see sales dropping. Nintendo better start pumping out some titles to keep current owners happy and future owners interested. As far as surpassing PS2 sales, it could happen if they start releasing great titles like the PS2 has.
