It's kind of crazy how many 6/10's this is getting. It's just a coherently average experience rather than a cult or successful one. I hope lessons are learned but the people that will suffer are Bioware.

Literally waitied since 7pm and finally logged in. Started missions. Long loading time and crashes. I’m done. Horrible motion blur on everything on xbox one x and 20fps performance. You can’t run in the hub area as it can’t handle it I think. We get to 4k and you add motion blur FFS. I wouldn’t like to be an EA share holder right now, this was an expensive experiment that simply hasn’t come together.

I think the point people are trying to make is,...no. It wouldn’t be the same game when speaking about how it’s balanced. If you truly believe that game balance isn’t adjusted in games with these microtransactions to promote ‘time savers’ you have way to much faith in these companies. I put a lot into Origins and love it, but by level 35 onwards it was an absolute grind and I truly stopped enjoying a game I LOVED for the first half. I jump in from time to time and have fun. The constant barrage of kills by maxed out players destroys my soul... Then i go play games not made by EA
Shame. I’ve cancelled the trial... I know it’s half the price of the competition but it’s way less than half the value also. Wish they released some apps, a few games for each nintendo console gen to buy us in. Nintendo take their time and I can see this taking years if it happens at all. And all our virtual console purchases are now worthless.
So refreshing to see a game ‘not at it’s best’ before launch. An upgrade at launch will do so much more than the E3 watch dogs style of demonstration

The thing about the tomb raider reboots is....They are fun, beautiful and polished. It doesn’t need ‘last of us’ quality writing to take away from that. Not being funny but Rise of the Tomb raider was better written than half the shit I see in the cinema. Uncharted 4 had pretty incredible acting and writing but I didn’t find that half as much fun as a tomb raider game. It is a shame the collectables are still like distracting filler though. Those text logs drew me out of ‘Rise’ and they retur...
