Instead of this DICE guy just saying "he doesn't know what he's talking about", how about explaining WHY he doesn't know what he's talking about. You know, state FACTS about the game instead of keeping gamers in the dark.
No, but it looks to have more single player/offine things to do than I thought it would.
"You will not be able to play the Multiplayer modes offline."
And there's absolutely no legitimate reason for this.
Have you read some of the other stories posted on this site?
I had two of these back in the early/mid 80s, Pac-Man and Frogger. They retailed for around $25 new back in the day IIRC.
And there's the people that never played the original BF games that are "following the train" because it's a SW game and they'll buy anything SW.
Never underestimate the power of Star Wars fanboyism.
So now you have to make games to be able to judge one?
I guess movie reviews should now be outlawed unless the reviewer is a filmmaker. And restaurant reviews need to go to unless the reviewer is an executive chef.
See how silly that sounds?
Just get a Super Everdrive or SD2SNES and don't be at the mercy of what Nintendo feels like releasing.
You don't need to see gameplay. DICE has said enough.
Constructive criticism isn't "hate". People are wondering why this game doesn't have popular features that were in its decade-old predecessors. They're legitimate complaints.
Why not listen to your customers and attempt to make the game better?
I'm pretty sure most people wanted this game to be good. You know, like the games that were released a decade ago? People are disappointed that features that were in its predecessors from 10 years ago were left out. They're legitimate complaints.
Adding offline modes like Instant Action and Galactic Conquest isn't some major undertaking to add to the game. If it could be done a decade ago, it can be done now.
Yes, we should just happily eat any BS they shovel our way.
It's not hate. People are legitimately concerned that this game is missing popular features that were in its decade-old predecessors.
They shouldn't have named it Battlefront, but they're trying to cash in on the popularity of the previous 2 games. Uninformed buyers are in for an unfortunate surprise.
They shouldn't have named it Battlefront.
It's pretty bad when a game doesn't have features that its predecessor had a decade ago.
I'm pretty sure the authorities in the Middle East have more to worry about than a video game being sold a few days before street date.
"As authorities watch in silence"..... what a drama queen.
