By adding the phrase “as well as other longtime fans of the series”, the author proves he is doing nothing more than stirring the pot.
Own your opinion, don’t try and justify it by trying to say others share it when you are clearly in the minority.
Though I personally didn’t play this version, I do not own a PS4, I have heard nothing but good things about this iteration of the franchise.
If they think that, then that is on them as they clearly haven't been paying attention
They should have shown this at E3
Was looking at getting a new GPU soon, and this is pushing me towards the red team
This is why we can't have nice things.
Nice double standard you got there

I would say this is a very premature statement to make since we still don’t know a whole lot about it.
If they do go the "Netflix" route, I could very easily see them releasing a console without a disc drive, and replace it with a large storage drive.
Most likely won't see Crackdown since it has been delayed...again!
I use chipotle tabasco in my baked beans. Taco Bell's hot sauce is hotter than tabasco.
This is more evidence that Valve really does not curate indie game on Steam very well at all. Same stuff that went on with Steam Greenlight.
Don't be. Jason Schrier is saying that it is not a big game and will be some form of online game.
I know what you mean. I only have one friend left on Xbox, so I am going to upgrade my PC and just switch platforms completely since all of the first party titles from MS will be available on PC anyway.
I think it has more to do with the fear of console-specific exclusive content.
They can still submit them, mods just need to stop approving them.
