Double Agent wounded Splinter Cell, and Conviction is bringing it to a near-death experience. The Stealth is thinning out, and you've got Splinter Cell in the hands of a ex-Rainbow Six dev, Maxime Beland. And he said "Hanging onto and creeping along ledges in stealth games is the slowest and most utterly f*****g boring mechanic you can possibly imagine in a video game." Someone who thinks the keys of being Stealthy is boring, right. Sheesh, I hope there is still hope for Splinte...
