do you think Microsoft will buy out Square Enix? To try and capture the RPG market or is that impossible? Because from their direction it seems like they want to buy out the FF franchise and all the other JRPg's as well.
interesting, this gets me more interested into the game, this is priceless advertising. I hope it's an exclusive to the PS3 though, just because Sony has been loosing some.
this is a sweet game, but they might just be over hyping games too much. You may disagree with me but, when a company over hypes their own games, it usually turns out as a disappointment(Fable, Halo3, Lair, Haze, GtaIV). Although they are fun games, i hope they don't pull a halo 3 with this one.
This looks good, but looks more like concept art than screens..
He wasn't very good at speaking IMO too. I hadn't seen a smile on his face, unlike the Wii presentations. All in all, MAG got me pretty interested of all the listed news in all three conferences.
I'll definitely be a sabateur or tactician. Sounds very fun
Square Enix's announcement that they went multiplat was because they wanted to extend the audience. Then why is infinite undiscovery and the other 360 exclusive an exclusive, when they could extend their market into the obviously succesful Japenese region, if it were on the PS3 too.
I smell a payoff.
how much is this? or is it a freebie?
GTA4 looks better graphically, but this looks way more fun. The customizables will give it tons of replay value, GTA4 didn't have much of that IMO.
Sony knew, but I'm surprised they let it pass by. They'll have to face the consequences now. Many people bought PS3's for FFXIII and many would have bought PS3's for it if it were exclusive, now there isn't much of a reason to spend more money on a PS3 for people who care only for the game.
Yes Sony shouldn't bother to secure every title out there. But when you have a Title like Final Fantasy XIII, it's only common sense to secure it as an exclusive. That's what many people are ranting about, the lack of support for guaranteed successful games to be exclusive.
I agree that 50million for DLC is absurd and spending for things like that should be avoided.
Kinda sucks, but things don't seem to be getting any better.
They announced that they are making the 360 version after making the PS3 one, so no worries, the PS3 version will be great. But the 360 version may suffer because of the lack of time they had to develop on that platform as we know.
Sony better have some new IP's and other new stuff related to improving the PSN and its' content to recuperate from the Sony's fan base outrage. Microsoft sure had a good day today.
so both consoles get equal attention, so no crappy ports. In that regard I respect Square Enix, but they really should have kept it as a PS3 exclusive, they lost alot of respect.
Home is better..
I heard in one of the comments that Square Enix's stock went down 20% after their E3 announcement?
Sony lost the console war..they jeopardized their entire company by this one
Sony needed to spend some money to make this exclusive! a real Fu*$k up!
funny article
