I hated crafting. It has always been a grind.
I gave up on the game a while back (late August 2014). I have been reading the forums and people are complaining about RNG, especially in coil. It is really bad now since they added ninja, thus decreasing your chances of getting the gear you need. Furthermore, my main job, smn, is ostracized now and the devs are not doing anything about it (besides saying they are going to fix some of the spell speed crap on gear). Looks like I am never going back to the game.
PS4 is winning.

@ gangsta_red, I stopped playing PC games because they are mostly digital now. I will not buy a PS5 if it is digital only.
