The dev needs to create the game properly. The title might hold significance, but if its poor it won't matter. An fps called shooting daisy storm... but built well could be epic, yet bad company 3, following a downward trend in quality will suck!

Xbox one is getting serious media protection imo. If this was ps4, it'd be all over the place headlines. Yet ps4 gets smashed over the smallest things. Microsoft is very powerful, I'd bet they have serious media spinners pushing out pro Xbox propaganda amongst what we are supposed to assume are neutral sources!
This is not a bad thing of course, all big companies do it... but still, man up Sony.... they're catching up and the media can change opinions of the masse...
The first game to release this gen without a day one patch needs to get an automatic 10/10 for effort lol
You own a ps4 or x1 for GTA V. And a wiiu is totally worth owning for smash bros. That's a proper console seller right there!
Strange? Lol, GTA combined sales from both generations, ps3/ps4 etc will destroy Pokémons.
But, a fresh ps4/x1 % of new sales this gen vs new pokemon will likely result in Pokémon winning.

Lol, if ps4 was to hit 100k a week in NA and x1 sticks at 70-80... or even the other way around, that's significantly sales over a month. Losing in EU and Asia but holding NA is something Xbox can still claim, and its a huge market still. Essentially like saying let's just forget china.... lol
If ps4 is +14k up a week, over the course of the month that's quite a steep hill for the x1 to climb to take November completely. X1 may have halo and things are really going great the past month for Xbox, but with GTA and Tlou bundle, right before Christmas and the fact momentum states ps4 is selling itself regardless... Not boring at all. But ps4 and x1 are largely the same. Wiiu lacks big multi plats. But what they lack there, they make up for in unique branding with its exclusives.

Halo btw. Its huge in the USA and they obviously will always hold ground with that. Ps4 simply can't outright destroy halo lol. In order of power its game > console, hence the term console seller.
