But i think we can all agree, silent hill 1,2 and 3 are amongst the scariest, creepiest games ever. Also, perfectly balanced horrors with one of the greatest soundtracks... ever! Akira yamaoka ftw!

Haha, great story dude! Miss games like that, for me the first massive game we would run home from school to play, was Mario 64. That game took over my life and my friends! Before that, I used to love Batman on my gamegear.... that thing was a beast back then compared to gameboy! Oh, and I loved flashback and robocop vs terminator on my Sega Genesis!

The ending of mass effect 1, with that epic song and Shephard just stood their as the camera pans out..... mass effect 2 couldn't have come sooner! Hitting omega for the first time..... damn I'm getting but hurt just thinking how bad they ruined the greatest...
Spot on! Ea are just the big corporate busines with no heart. Bioware were epic. Their last great game was mass effect 2.
They have great talent, DA2 and mass effect 3 although not what we expected as still great games. Me3 only really lacked the epic game status for losing its way with the ending.
High hopes for their next titles. Also, I'd like to see them move away from ea if possible.

They both mean very different things, but the 1st under extreme hype can be perceived as an exclusive title. It will be multi plat. Sony would be literally saying ps4 exclusive every chance they get otherwise!
Silent hill was always about atmosphere and its ability to create the feeling of dread and isolation in its environment. Kojima has a knack for creating borderline Hollywood levels of cinematic gaming, if he has the script and soundtrack along with a classic silent hill soundtrack, you can be sure he will create something special.

Yeah, should be great. Although, the polished graphics now may take away from the originals grit and they didn't really become classics based on their looks, it needs the character and artistic tone done right not all out graphics IMO. If they can create the feeling of silent hill 3, my favorite, but with epic graphics... then it will be awesome!
