No, Polyphony explained last week that they wouldn't put in damage in GT 5, or at least not in the initial release. They feel it would take up too much of their time. Incredible to see everyone assuming this to be a denial, while actually, all this site does is mention OLD comments by Media Molecule, thus concluding the comments by Langeveld, mentioning LBP2, cant be right. Bit shortsighted if you ask me.
Fact: nothing has been heard from Sony today, even though nearly every website has picked up the story by now. If it were undoubtly untrue, I would have expected some sort of comment by now.
