One thing I'd hasten to add as well - the Japanese aren't going through a health kick like certain parts of the Western world. Many Japanese believe that weight loss is achieved simply by not eating :P

stuff F1, they need to fix grid first. handling is lame and there are no freakin DTMs or V8s: stuff the drifting, if I wanted to do that I would buy need for freakin speed.

Why do people say my Xbox 360 is working perfectly fine. It tends to do that... until it dies.
I also think that there are more consoles around, some consoles are older and GTA IV is much longer than Halo... it'll take days to finish, not hours.
I think there will be heaps more RRoD this time around. I'll cry like a baby if my console dies before I finish the game.
I think many of you have missed the point of this article and are turning it into your personal story with the Xbox you already own.
It is actually about Microsoft needing to do more than just work on the machines innards: they need to give the Xbox 360 a total image revamp. The current console's appearance will be forever tagged with RRoD.
It then goes on to suggest what features should be thrown in at the same time to give the console legs into the future.
Having read though all of that there are two points I would like to add.
1.) As awesome as MGS4 is, it is a gamer's game and is kind of irrelevant to this conversation about why GTA 4 will ship consoles - the csasual market, GT5, however, is a much more recognised casual brand.

As for the swearing, grow up. Not only did the use of the word make me laugh, it packed a mightly wallop to the end point of the article and actually assumed I was a mature adult gamer... for once.
The article is not about which will sell more copies. Becuase of the install base that will be the X360 version for sure (at least in the short term). The article is about how many consoles will be sold on the back of the games release.
