The thing is, if they keep BC on their next system, these games will still be selling for $5-$10 for the next 10+ years to infinity. It's free money over time.
They've certainly made a profit off of me. I've bought countless BC titles and plan to continue buying more and more.

No, I don't know what they will do. But as of right now they have shown no love for BC. If the PS5 is fully BC with PS4 games then I'll feel more comfortable buying PS4 games digital. But as of right now I'm still not sure that they will allow that.
there's 2 other articles on here that say it's pretty bad in 4k mode. the video didn't show very many intense combat encounters with lots of enemies so I don't know if they really put enough time into testing this one.
Love BC so much. I've switched to all digital on Xbox now since I know my library will still be playable on the next generation Xbox. With PS4 and Switch I'm all Physical still because they have shown no intention of letting you build a digital library that transfers to the next gen as of yet.

Polygon also reported that the 4K mode is a problem with performance.
DF said it's not bad, but of the footage they showed, they didn't show many fights with lots of enemies at once.

They said it right in the video. It sounds even worse than the performance of FFXV on the Pro. Digital foundry said a similar thing about FFXV, where they actually preferred to play it on the base PS4 due to performance issues on the Pro. As a Pro owner, this is alarming to me.
I don't see what any of this has to do with Sea of Thieves?? You've seen my PS4 collection in private messages, I buy most all of the Sony exclusives that I can.

Hope so, my sister and I only have PS4 Pro's
"At times there were drastic framerate drops which made the game completely unplayable for 1-2 seconds" - PS4 Pro Resolution mode
PS4 Pro Performance mode - Targets 60fps but does not run at a consistant 60fps, performance got so bad they had to switch back to Resolution mode for smoother gameplay.
Base PS4 preferred for smoother gameplay.

I have the game Pre-Ordered, but my biggest concern is still the kid. Can't say anything until playing it though. My worry is that if the kid is pretty much invulnerable, it will break the immersion. Plus kids are annoying in general.
Pre-ordered it and helped mental health! Feels good. Can't believe people are trying to bring console wars into this.
