Dark General - You don't need to purchase the DLC to get the platinum. The platinum is awarded when you get all the original trophies that came on the retail disc. No game has ever forced you to buy the DLC to get the platinum trophy.
GEC and Halo3 - Actually the platinum trophy is a separate trophy from everything else. Take, for example, Mirror's Edge. The amount of Achievements and Trophies in the game are identical....except for the Platinum. So getting all achievement...
Seriously, SOCOM was and still is an amazing franchise. It had nothing to do with it being exclusive. If you recall, the PS2 is home to a ridiculous amount of highly praised games, so saying SOCOM stood out is really giving it a tremendous compliment.
He's right, mine is hooked up to my biggest TV, yet that little blue light has been glowing for about 2 months now.
Yuck...I played the demo the whole way through...way to bland for my taste. The destruction was cool, but that was about it.
...and I've wasted too much money trying out crappy games. Which is exactly why I'm passing on Red Faction. At least name a good game if you're gonna try to call out a multi-platform resolution discrepancy...
"Conclusion:
The NPD numbers show month after month a clear victor is emerging. When this console generation finally draws to a close, we may soon look back and say it only took two generations for Microsoft to beat out the veteran Sony and cement the 360 as the core gamer's console. Who is to say what new heights they can achieve in the coming years?"
Wow...another Xbox site that thinks NDP=World... ::sigh::
Exactly. It's no different. If people don't want to get a PS3, fine! But its not about that anymore. Its about bragging which game sold more. Sad...
Agreed with sarcasm....read this comment.

I've felt this way for some time now ;)
Well, I have Killzone 2 and have loved every minute of it. Well, maybe not the Radec fight on Elite :)...and that's all I care about. And I'm sure 360 fans with their Halo Wars are enjoying it as well. Don't have a 360, and I don't plan on getting one. Sooooo, are all these comments necessary? Does anyone think their proving a point...?
You do believe me...don't you dad...?
The first Rabbids game was great. I rented the second one, something about a TV, and hated it. I probably wouldn't give any more titles a try. Its a shame they stopped making Rayman platformers... I bought the first one on PSN. Great game...
Ha! I bet myself it was hiphopgamer and I was right! I could never see this happening. The only thing handhelds have over consoles is that they are portable. Other than that, a console is the way to go.
Ha, we know nothing about MAG and yet it already has a complex named after it...ah the media...
To locos and JOY. I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic; making fun of the fact that XBOX division says Blu-Ray is not needed and then Windows division trying to sell it as a great feature. Here is a post from the author about 4 or 5 posts down the page.
"I think you're onto something on "inconsistency," and it's weird to see Microsoft hype "Blu-ray" when that's Sony's biggest selling point for the PS3 against their own Xbox."
Sony and Microsoft need to make it so you can buy stuff on the store with your score/trophy level. Nothing big either. I mean, something like 500 5 dollars max for getting 100% on a game.
KILL ZONE 2 BEREITS stieß das 100% der Spus ALS KILL ZONE 2.
In German...
And here is Russian
KILL ZONE 2 уже подтолкнуло 100% SPUS НЕ KILL ZONE 2.
That doesn't help much...
Meh, I'm glad it was posted. I missed the one from 81 days ago.
Makes perfect sense. Its more sad with netbooks because they make it as simple as can be. You try to install your own Linux distro, you might run into some problems. Besides, Tux Racing is better than anything in Windows games... :)
Got mine at Target a couple weeks ago. They were on clearance so maybe they aren't going to be carrying them in retail stores much longer.
Great demo. I had to turn it off before I started the second mission. I couldn't believe there were two missions in one demo! I think once I play this game some more, the more fun it will be. Learning the best way to get around and stuff. I didn't realize you were able to surf on the power lines and railways until after I quit. I'll have to try that out. I preordered this on Amazon right after I played it. Must have game. The Uncharted multiplayer beta is a plus as well. ;)
